Description
Head of HR required for one the Great XII Livery companies in the City of London as Head of HR you will take responsibility for delivering a professional, best practice HR service working across the Company to enable the recruitment, retention, development,and empowerment of high performing teams.
The Head of HR will work closely with the senior management team, reporting directly to The Clerk/CEO.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The role holder will be able to demonstrate:
- Experience of playing a proactive, generalist HR role, either in a stand-alone or small team environment, working across a range of business areas.
- Experience across a broad range of HR issues, with an excellent grasp of employment legislation and emerging trends.
- Ability to think strategically to develop a People strategy and bring it to life through strong planning and implementation skills.
- Understanding of Payroll, Pension and Employee Benefit provision.
- Demonstrable communication skills (oral and written).
- Excellent time management and organisation skills.
- Proficiency in using MS Office, in particular good Word and Excel skills.
