We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join us as a qualified and experienced Counsellor.In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide confidential and professional counselling services to individuals who have experienced domestic abuse.
As a Counsellor, you will work with a diverse range of clients who are in safe accommodation and have experienced domestic abuse.
Your primary objective will be to create a safe and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their feelings and emotions.
Using your training and experience, you will work collaboratively with clients to develop personalized recovery plans, employing a trauma-informed approach.
Your responsibilities will include providing 1:1 counselling sessions to individuals, as well as conducting initial assessments to determine their suitability for our support services.
Based on the outcomes of your assessments, individuals may be directed to our group counselling sessions, which will be facilitated by another member of our team.
As a Senior Practitioner, you will utilise your strong practice and experience to support junior members of the team, leading with best practice.
Your empathetic nature, combined with your ability to provide confidential and professional support, will be crucial in helping our clients on their path to recovery.
You should be comfortable working with individuals who have experienced domestic abuse and be knowledgeable about the dynamics and complexities of this.
