Key Responsibilities
This role offers great variety and will centre around working with clients on projects that will enable them to capitalise on financial and carbon opportunities linked with micro grids, embedded generation, demand side response, energy storage, electric vehicles and building decarbonisation

  • Engage with clients across the real estate sector and assist them in navigating the complexity of energy systems in the built environment
  • Assessing and interpretation of data to help clients understand carbon and financial impacts of energy systems
  • Policy analysis and research of key technologies/sectors
  • Experience with projects that have implemented microgrids, generation, energy storage, heat pumps, electric vehicles or demand side response whilst working as either a project developer, consultant or technology provider
  • Develop and leverage opportunities from contact network
  • A proactive approach to work and a willingness to get involved in departmental policy and strategy by putting forward ideas
  • A willingness to undertake business development on behalf of the department, wider team and the company and raise Savills' profile besides their personal profile outside the company

Key Skills

  • Technical and/or market experience in the energy and real estate markets
  • Able to build strong relationships with clients and reporting to them professionally, ability to build rapport with a variety of people from different backgrounds
  • Entrepreneurial attitude and ability to consider commercial aspects of a project
  • Be able to travel and attend meetings across the UK and Ireland
  • Ability to manage complex and challenging workstreams
  • Highly competent and skilled with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Clear written and verbal communication style
  • Confident and professional appearance and approach
  • Good communication skills and be a team player
  • Exercise confidentiality and discretion at all times
  • Excellent client care skills and the ability to prioritise work
  • The ability to manage time effectively, prioritising tasks to ensure deadlines are met
