Description

The post holder will gain a wide range of experience at Senior House Officer level in Emergency Medicine, in addition to specific experience in critical care and the care of major trauma.

Some previous experience in A & E is essential and a recognised certification in Advanced Life Support is preferable. There will be Consultant, Specialty Doctor and Specialty Trainee available for advise/supervision at all times.

During this time the post holder will work both in the minor injuries area, the trolley areas and will be expected to act as a resuscitation room doctor in times of need.
