This is an exciting opportunity for an apprentice looking to begin their career in Accounts. No prior experience necessary as it is an entry level position. Full training and support with studies will be provided. Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship there will be opportunity to stay on in a permanent position.

Hours: 9am -5pm Mon-Fri (one day at college)


Duties

• Processing invoices/credit notes and receipts on our accounting software Paperless.
• Assisting with Purchase order processing such as; matching delivery notes with invoices, marking orders as goods received and sending invoices for approval.
• Supplier statement reconciliation
• Assisting with bank reconciliation.
• Ensure accurate and up to date supplier records are kept.

Requirements:

• Good written and verbal English
• Confident using a computer and learning IT systems
• Maths and English GCSE grade 5/C or equivalent
• Work well in a team
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organisation and time management
