Your role:
As a result of continuous growth, the opportunity has arisen for a Mill Operative to join the manufacturing business unit at our Ellesmere Port site.
Reporting to the Mill Supervisor, in this role you will play a vital role in plant safety and production by assisting and supporting the operation to meet and exceed quality and production goals.
You will comply with Saw Mill activities to ensure production schedules are achieved and that all the plant is maintained to ensure maximum uptime.
You will also be conversant with risk assessments and safe systems of work associated with the Sawmill and Timber production.
As a Mill Operative you will demonstrate you can effectively check production paperwork and work instructions before commencement of the job and report accurately any non-confirming timber and/or mistakes to your team.
