£31,900 to £41,648 plus £3000 Welcome Bonus


HMP Group are recruiting on behalf of our client who are one of the UKs leading providers of behavioral care and specialist support services to adults and young people.

We are seeking to appoint full-time
RMN at my clients site in Ayr.

As a Nurse you will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers The RMN will be expected to have excellent interpersonal skills when liaising with members of the multi-disciplinary team, external agencies and organisations, patients and relatives.

The RMN should also have a good working knowledge of the Adult Support and Protection (Scotland) Act 2007. Experience in a related environment is essential.

About the Role:


The post holder will work as a member of the small dedicated nursing team meeting the health, well being and social care needs of clients under the indirect and direct guidance and supervision of the Nursing Manager and/or Senior Nurse/RMO.


Nurses will provide a range of health, well being and social care interventions, undertake administrative tasks including data recording, administer medication and give general assistance to all clients in treatment.


The post holder will provide an efficient and professional service ensuring the best possible standards of care at all times complying with all statutory requirements and following companies policies and procedures.


Duties:


  • Provide a high standard of care to people with mental illness and personality disorder
  • Develop therapeutic relationships to optimise patient engagement
  • Contribute to patient assessments, compiling a plan of care alongside the individual, and monitoring patient progress
  • At a more senior level, you'll also need to lead shifts as well as mentoring and supporting student nurses and other members of the team
  • Follow all codes of conduct, standards and legislation, respecting the rights of others and promoting ethical practice
