Action Prompt currently has an exciting opportunity for an Account Executive to join our team in providing our partner businesses with exceptional support.


Based in Burley, Leeds (just north of the city centre) Action Prompt provides personalised mobile phone apps and websites to independent takeaways, restaurants and cafes.

Our mission is to ensure that our partner eateries are not paying expensive commission to online ordering platforms, and help them grow their business by enhancing their customer experience and online engagement.

We want to see small, local businesses thrive.


Responsibilities & Duties

Please note, this role is a full time position, Monday to Friday, working in the afternoons and evenings
This is a varied yet creative role with no day being the same.

Working closely with a field-based Area Sales Manager on a dedicated region, you will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:


  • Building rapport with your designated accounts. This also includes a welcome call when the account first signs up with Action Prompt so that you can introduce yourself and the support that you can provide. This will also be to check that the new account is aware of all of our practices (knows how to use their ordering terminal etc).
  • Supporting your accounts with customer service enquiries such as customer requested refunds, ringing through any unanswered orders, menu updates, customer orders, financial enquiries, social media marketing, SMS marketing and other CRM requests.
  • Answering general phone calls and liaising with team members to help the caller with their enquiry.
  • Liaising with your accounts on different marketing ideas to help boost their monthly customer orders (e.g. exclusive meal deals, discounts etc).
  • Managing the Google My Business listing of your accounts (this will include contacting the takeaways directly to gain access to the listings).
  • Organising payment for marketing campaigns (Google ads, Social Media ads etc).
  • Creating captions, sourcing relevant imagery and scheduling social media content for your designated accounts.
  • Responding to customer enquiries on accounts' social media pages.
  • Analysing the success / monthly orders of highlighted accounts and thinking of creative ways that we can further boost their orders.
  • Creating analytical reports on the success of your new accounts after 3 months.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Great communication skills with the confidence to regularly answer / make phone calls to your accounts.
  • Basic knowledge of social media marketing (mainly Facebook and Instagram), extra training will be provided.
  • Competency in Google apps such as Docs, Slides, Sheets etc (similar to Microsoft Office).
  • The creativity and confidence to introduce marketing ideas to accounts that may not be as knowledgeable.
  • Experience in creative tools such as Canva / Photoshop would be beneficial but not compulsory.
  • Educated to A-Level qualification or equivalent
  • Customer Service Experience 1 year
  • Social Media Marketing Experience year (beneficial but not required).

Salary and Benefits
- £18,000 - £20,000 depending on experience
