Job Summary:
The HR Advisor position is responsible for working with the head of HR and other senior managers to align business objectives.
The position serves as an integral member of the HR function ensuring that all related HR activities are carried out in a professional, efficient and compliant manner.
They will advise on company policy, best practice, process and procedure.The Advisor will formulate partnerships across the organisation to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization and wider company.
The Advisor will act as a laison point between the operational site and HR function, dealing with HR issues and fielding those to senior members of the department when appropriate.
GENERAL:
- Advise on company policy, best practice, process and procedure.
- Analyzes trends and metrics in to develop solutions, programs and policies.
- Ensures that HR is on or exceeding pace with best practice based on external market indicators.
- Formulate relationships and partnerships across the organisation to deliver valueadded service to management and employees.
- Act as a liaison point between the operational site and HR function
- Deals with disciplinary and grievance issues, conducting investigations and interviews, carrying out thorough researches as required to provide benchmarking information, proposed solutions and relevant data. Produces reports and presentations as required.
- Problem solving and dispute resolution
- Coaching managers in policy and procedure adherence
- Maintains indepth knowledge and best practice tools of legal requirements related to daytoday management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships and credibility of the HR team to build morale, and increase productivity and retention through best practice tools and research for the company.
- Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation based on best practice solutions for the HR team, business and projects.
- Identifies training needs for business units and individuals.
- Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met.
- Responsible for job description drafting and recommendation and repository management
EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE:
- A diploma or degree from a recognized College/University in Human Recourses or Business Administration with minimum CIPD level 3 certification or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years related HR experience
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
- Extensive experience in all areas of human resources
- Knowledge of employee practices and related legislation
- Knowledge of employee policies and procedures
- Ability to instruct, direct, and delegate as required
- Analyze problems, determine approach, compile data and prepare recommendations
- Interact effectively with team members at all levels
- Ability to use diplomacy, discretion and maturity in dealing with sensitive personnel issues
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
- Has integrity and is resilient
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, outstanding interpersonal, relationship building and problemsolving skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- High energy, selfstarter and ability to seek out resources and structure own workflow
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively

£30,000.00-£37,800.00 per year
