The Industrial Work Solutions UK who operate as an employment business are currently looking for
Electrical Fitters for a busy production facility in the
Blackburn area. This opportunity is to work with one of our leading clients in the Engineering sector


Main role and responsibilities:


  • Fitting and understanding Bus Bar supports
  • Understanding and fitting of copper bar
  • Understanding the correct size of cabling for Ampage of board
  • Reading and understanding the scheme and Gas including fitting of the CTs, breakers, plug in breakers i.e. OFs, SDs etc.
  • Selecting the correct size and type of bolt for all connections
  • Planning and organising mechanical fitting
  • Checking the electrical components are correct with the drawing
  • Read and interpret the scheme
  • Identify faults, snag (and rectify snags) panels
  • Identifying and correcting design errors
  • Identifying and correcting scheme errors
  • Lay out of control section

GENERIC DUTIES

  • At all times and in all respects conform to and comply with the proper and reasonable directions and regulations of the company
  • And any other tasks as necessary to ensure that the Company Profits are maximised at all time

Working Hours are:

Monday to Thursday 07:30am - 4:30pm, Fridays 8am-1pm

Overtime Available
