Alpine F1 Team have an opportunity to join the team as a Technical Buyer with a focus on external processes.
Technical Buyer - The Role
The key responsibility of this position will be to support in the creation and deployment of best practice procurement policy and process appropriate to the business.
You will procure and manage all externally supplied engineering services and raw materials required by the company and manage all free issue materials supplied as part of any externally engineered service requirement.
You will ensure we have adequate sources to maintain the continuous supply of high-quality products and services within budget and on time and engage with all internal customers and stakeholders and manage the commercial position of all requirements to point of delivery.
Technical Buyer - The Person
We are looking for an individual with up-to-date knowledge and experience of best practice purchasing of engineered technical components (CIPS qualification preferred).
We are looking for a strong negotiator with excellent inter-personal and communication skills, able to interact confidently with staff at all levels within the business.
