Our client are an established, well-known manufacturing business currently looking to recruit an experienced Injection Moulding Setter to join their team.

Key Duties:

To be aware of your responsibilities to yourself and others under the Health and Safety company policy document and adherence to that policy.
To be able to Demonstrate Tool Changes safely and to the Highest Standard. Organise tool changes amongst your subordinates. Tool changes are the priority/job for the Level2/tool slingers but will also be completed by shift setters of Level 3 and above whenrequired.
To be able to Set up Moulding machines from Zero Standing to Produce product of the highest Quality. Utilising machine based SPC to 3 standard deviation, insuring all processes are optimised and running to 90% minimum OEE.
To be able to Troubleshoot / Problem Solve and use a Logical approach that achieves a speedy solution to the problem; Have the ability to identify inprocess; Improvements i.e. tooling, robotics and programming. (Thinking outside the box and promote C.Iideas). Focus time all shift on OEE to maintain a standard of 90% minimum shift OEE across all 2 zones. Identify all tools/IMM's causing low OEE and rectify problem or communicate solution to Op's team with full report and supporting data.
To have the ability to work under pressure, prioritise and achieve the best solution to problems throughout shift.
To support and develop teamwork and communication at all levels across the shifts and throughout the company. Have the ability to train and delegate tasks to all setters on an hourly basis.
To minimise waste and maximise cost effectiveness. SMED & Right First Time. And ensure all capable IMM's are on closed loop system and running to correct regrind %.
To ensure effective data capture, reporting and visibility of data relating to Setting performance.
