About The Role:

We are looking for an experienced and highly organised, professional and committed PA who is responsible for providing a comprehensive, confidential and high-quality administrative service to ensure the efficient and effective organisation of the lead consultant anaesthetist and the anaesthetic team.

As a key member of the team, you will be reporting to Catrin Williams. Acting as an effective 'gatekeeper' and must therefore have excellent negotiation, diplomacy and interpersonal skills.

The post holder will have knowledge of all the relevant administrative and IT programmes applicable to this role as well as the ability to deal with non-routine activities that arise.

Problem solving is an integral part of the role.

The role will involve contact on a daily basis with a wide range of people - both internal and external to the organisation and therefore requires a confident approach.

You'll need to be a team player and a completer-finisher, with strong communication skills and an eye for detail.

Managing your own workload alongside the requirements of the lead anaesthetic consultant and work flexibly in support of the wider anaesthetic team as required.

The post holder must be capable of working on their own initiative, whilst maintaining a high level of confidentiality and discretion at all times.
