£10.42ph rising following a successful probation period

Due to retirement we are recruiting a receptionist to join our busy but friendly reception team.

The successful applicant will be highly motivated, adaptable and be able to work under pressure.

Experience working in a healthcare setting would be desirable but not essential as full training would be provided.

Duties include:

Answering calls and dealing with all aspects of patient facing care including booking appointments, greeting, and directing patients.
Relaying information and queries between patients and clinicians, ensuring clear and concise documentation.
Care navigation (signposting patients to other appropriate services).
Processing patient prescriptions
Processing online consultations
Actioning and sending tasks to clinical team
Liaising with wider colleagues in primary and secondary care
Dealing with sensitive information always adhering to confidentiality policy

About us
We are a busy practice located in Bebington and have a patient list of approximately 9900 patients.

We have a large clinical team consisting of 5 GP partners, 6 salaried GP's, 3 Practice Nurses, 2 Healthcare Assistants, a Physicians Associate, and a Practice Pharmacist.

We are also a GP training practice so have regular training GP's and medical students.
