What we're looking for
We are looking for a skilled and knowledgeable Employee Relations Advisor to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and support to employees and management regarding employee relations matters.

You will work closely with various stakeholders to address employee concerns, investigate complaints, and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

The role

  • Develop and implement employee relations strategies, policies, and programs that align with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Proactively monitor and address employee relations issues, providing guidance to management and employees on policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Investigate and resolve workplace conflicts, complaints, and grievances, ensuring fair and impartial treatment and adherence to company policies and legal requirements.
  • Collaborate with HR team members to create and deliver effective training programs on employee relations topics, conflict resolution, and management practices.
  • Stay uptodate on employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate potential legal risks.
  • Foster positive employee morale and engagement through effective communication, recognition programs, and employee feedback mechanisms.
  • Advise and coach managers on employee performance, disciplinary actions, and termination procedures, ensuring consistency and adherence to company policies.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including HR, legal, and senior leadership, to address complex employee relations matters and develop solutions.
  • Analyse employee relations trends and metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing proactive measures to enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, documentation, and case files related to employee relations activities.

What you bring

  • A degree or equivalent in a relevant field of study
  • Experience in Labor Relations and or HR Policy is preferred.
  • Provide guidance and support in resolving employee conflicts, complaints, and grievances in a fair and impartial manner.
  • Conduct thorough and objective investigations into employee complaints, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
  • Collaborate with HR and management to develop effective solutions and action plans for addressing employee relations issues.
  • Advise and coach managers on performance management, disciplinary actions, and other employeerelated matters.
  • Stay uptodate on employment laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and recommending policy updates as necessary.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of employee relations training programs to promote understanding and adherence to company policies and practices.
  • Monitor and analyse employee relations trends, identifying areas for improvement and implementing proactive measures.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records related to employee relations activities.
  • Provide support and guidance in employee engagement initiatives, including employee surveys, recognition programs, and feedback mechanisms.
