Set just outside the historic town of Knaresborough, the course boasts a stunning 18-hole 6778-yard Hawtree designed parkland golf course founded in1920.

We are looking for a reliable hard-working individual to join our friendly and enthusiastic greenkeeping team as a full time assistant greenkeeper, needed for daily tasks on the golf course.

Looking for someone with a keen eye for detail and a willingness to learn.

Assisting in the preparation, set up and general maintenance of the golf course, you will work to a consistently high level to maintain and improve the golf course standards and quality.

You will be required to work with a team from Monday to Friday and weekend morning shifts on a rota basis.

Any weekend work will grant days off in lieu.

This role is suitable for a qualified and experienced Assistant Greenkeeper who is fully competent and can work without supervision.

The role will involve duties such as:

• Mowing all areas of the golf course
• General golf course maintenance and improvements
• Machinery maintenance
• Tree and hedge work
• Course preparation including moving tee markers, raking bunkers and changing holes

The ideal applicant will have:

• 2+ years' experience
• A positive attitude
• Strong work ethic including pride and attention to detail
• Flexible, selfmotivated, and positive work attitude
• Resourceful and organised
• Be professional in appearance and actions
• Ability to prioritise appropriately

Qualifications:

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent and above
