Description

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic member of the team to successfully deliver the Independent Visitor service in accordance with the statutory requirements and agreed outcomes of North Lincolnshire Council.


This role includes recruiting, supporting and retaining volunteer independent visitors to work with young people who are 'Looked After' by the local authority including unaccompanied asylum-seeking children.

Working with children's social work services to ensure appropriate and timely referrals are made to the service and any concerns raised in a timely manner.

This is a varied role and requires experience of recruiting, training and supporting volunteers as well as safeguarding children and young people.

Hours are generally core office hours, working pattern to be determined. However, we work on a flexible basis and some evening and weekend work may be required.

A flexible attitude and commitment to working as a positive member of the team is required.
