Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented cook/ Housekeeper to join our team. As a Cook/Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization within our facility. This is a vital role in ensuring a clean and comfortable environment for our residents and guests.


Responsibilities:

Preparing nutritious meals for the children

Following kitchen guidelines and meeting health and safety

Homecooked meals

preparing snacks

Record keeping

• Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas
• Make beds and change linens
• Restock supplies in rooms and common areas
• Empty trash and dispose of waste properly
• Assist with meal preparation and cooking as needed
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when restocking is necessary
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and hazardfree work area
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
• Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of duties
• Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
• Good communication skills to interact with residents, guests, and team members
