Job Summary:

Responsible for the distribution of Al Jazeera Media Network Channels across the European region, to include hotels and out-of-home spaces.

The senior executive's goal will be to maximize availability, presence & reach of Al Jazeera Media Network channels, in addition to generating revenue where possible.

Specific Job Responsibilities:

Identify distribution opportunities across hotels and outofhome spaces to include but not limited to airlines, cruises, maritime vessels, educational institutions (i.e. universities), airports, hospitals, system integrators and National tourism boards
Work on converting leads to deals that further expand Al Jazeera Media Network Channels presence & reach.
Maintain, build and foster relationship with clients.
Analyze & evaluate hotel distribution deals by regions every existing contract & evaluate its viability and means to enhance it for bettercontinued service relationship & maximize distribution in sync with Network's objectives.
Facilitate effective negotiation & renegotiation of agreements (while renewing) in securing best terms.
Legalize Channel carriages by encouraging hotels and other platforms to sign license agreements to counter piracy
Engage and work with third party (agents & representatives) to achieve distribution goals
Work on annual business planning with clear set KPIs
Work closely with the Head of Distribution on the optimization of costs and expenditure
Assist Al Jazeera Media Network Revenue Unit (Finance) in their revenue collection process
Attend & represent Al Jazeera Media Network in key Trade Fairs, Events, Exhibitions, Conferences or business meetings as and when required,

Minimum Qualifications and Experience Required:

Minimum Bachelor from a recognized University preferably in Media and Business Administration,
Minimum 7 years' experience in related field preferably Media & Broadcast
