Computappoint is currently recruiting for IT Procurement & Vendor Management (CPT&PT) or (IOE&PSG) Lead.

This role will require a strong stakeholder management experience with a background in IT.

Our client is looking to simplify their business processes and on-board a Procurement Lead who can develop framework and organise effective work system.

Main responsibilities:

Work within the policies and plans set out by the Head of CTO Office, contributing as necessary to their development, and working within company policies
Responsible for internal stakeholders maintain relationship, new vendor selection
Manage the key IT categories hardware, software, professional services
Work with other stakeholders, representing the IT procurement, vendor & service management function.
Drive IT procurement projects, IT outsourcing initiatives, ITrelated business process outsourcing projects and IT costreduction initiatives to achieve significant value within the respective IT Towers
Work with the Head of CTO Office to develop the capability of the procurement team and the commercial awareness of the IT function

Required Knowledge:

Extensive experience in IT procurement, with experience as an IT procurement or category manager
Experience in running competitive tenders and contract negotiations
Legal experience, with a background in technology contracts
Good understanding of infrastructure & production support functions e.g. data centre, networks, desktop, production support etc
Strong negotiation skills for large and complex IT procurement deals
Indepth understanding of the IT products and services market and its trends
Knows about and understands financial management, contracts and legal issues
Understanding of the IT procurement tools, methodologies and processes
Strong project and process management skills, with the ability to handle multiple vendors, projects and a wide range of tasks
