Immediate Start
We have a vacancy for a Part-Time Funeral Operative working with us at;
G. McAllister Funeral Directors Station Road, Shotts, ML7 4BQ

Part-time 16 hours a week plus overtime and out of hours call-out rate.


Duties to include:


  • Transferring those who have died into our care from varying locations
  • Preparation of funeral vehicles
  • Workshop duties including the preparation of coffins and caskets in readiness for funerals
  • Assisting on Funerals as a Driver
  • Delivering and collecting documentation to and from various locations
  • Assisting the Funeral Director to ensure the smooth running of the business

Do/Are you?

  • Live local to North/South Lanarkshire (For oncall out of hours duties)
  • Well presented, courteous and of good character
  • Able to communicate well
  • Previous experience desirable but not essential

At times you will be required to:

  • Participate in an on-call rota to ensure our 24-hour out of hours service
  • Hold a clean current UK driving licence

Salary:
£10.90 per hour

  • Shotts: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
