Capital Markets Negotiator - Birmingham, United Kingdom - Simply Talented

For the international bank, we are looking for the ISDA Negotiator.

The role is located in Birmingham, it will be a perm role, a hybrid position (3 days working from the office/ 2 days working from home).

In this role, you will:

• Responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating the following documents
• ISDA, CSA, and Derivative Master Agreements and related ancillary documents
• Review legal opinions and liaise with external counsel
• Followup work, both internally and with counterparts to gather comments, and information, review and ultimately complete agreements, and prepare them for execution
• Organization of execution of completed agreements and dispatch for counterparts' signature
• Followup work to ensure the return of signed documents and the completion and closing of files
• Working closely with the Franchise and Prime business, in particular (Franchise)New Business Group and Client Services
• Responding to queries on the master documentation from various departments

Required Qualifications:

• Selfmotivated, resultsdriven, and proactive team player who takes ownership and accountability for their work, can both collaborate and provide directives when issues arise in the team and multitask in a fastpaced environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, including the ability to interact with and influence business stakeholders and clients in order to negotiate, build consensus, control risks, and improve operational efficiency
• Strong commercial acumen with a keen interest in derivative, repo, and securities lending markets and products
• Ability to negotiate and review detailed legal documents with an eye for detail and accuracy, particularly around documentation terms
• Ability to learn and adapt to various technology platforms
