MINUIMUM 1 YEARS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE.

MUST BE COMFORTABLE DRIVING INTO LONDON ON OCASSION
Due to contract gains, we are seeking professional tramper drivers at our site in Barnsley. These are permanent positions.

The role is Monday to Friday however you must be flexible as there is a requirement for the odd Saturday morning run in (enhanced pay rates apply), and start times vary according to the job.

These are fast paced roles which require you to hit the ground running therefore we require drivers with experience of general haulage.

We operate a fleet of both flatbeds and curtain siders so you must be willing to work with
both, the work includes construction materials such as steels and concretes etc. therefore securing of loads will include chaining.

Bonuses are paid for London and extended loads.

Typical earnings of our drivers are approximately £50,000p.a

Sadly we cannot accept new pass drivers and therefore you will not be considered if you apply.

Essential skills:

1 year driving experience minimum for insurance purposes

FULL understanding of EU drivers hours and working time directive

Valid DCPC

Ability to carry out thorough pre use checks and report when necessary

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work as part of a team but also on your own initiative

Flexible, highly motivated

Able to learn new information and follow instruction when required

Experience is essential for this role

20 days holiday which increases with length of service (3 of which are retained for xmas shutdown) + bank hols.
