One of the Council's three key priorities is tackling poverty and the cause of inequality. Calderdale Council's Anti-Poverty Plan aligned to their Health and Wellbeing Strategy is focused on preventing people falling into poverty and supporting people in poverty to build their resilience. The current crisis is making this more vital than ever.

This role will help us to support residents during the cost-of-living crisis, and beyond, engaging with residents and partners and community groups and developing a robust delivery plan with strategic leaders so that we can target our efforts as effectively as possible.

The Cost-of-Living Coordinator will be based in the VSI Alliance and will work with local communities and residents, gathering insight to help support and inform local priorities.
