To ensure the smooth running of the evening shift operation and customer service

Requirements:


Main Accountabilities:

  • Acceptance of shipments via our reception point following the receiving process for our warehouse and front counter
  • Accurately input over the counter shipments onto our inhouse and online booking system
  • Palletise and load shipments from our customers and integrators
  • Receive Box It and Shipa goods, accurately enter data onto the 3rd party system
  • Liaising with day shift to consolidate goods weekly
  • Ensure all jobs are ready for collection and loaded to DHL at 19:30
  • Use the company vehicle to collect and deliver shipments when required
  • All driving activities are conducted in accordance with the group driving policy
  • Relying to customer requests for shipment updates and provide accurate information
  • Running reports and tracking overseas agents for information on deliveries to ensure on time performance
  • Any other reasonable requests

  • Fully understand the Company Health & Safety and Security policies.
  • Attend training courses as may be arranged by the Company
Qualifications, Competencies & Experience

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Selfmotivated with proven ability to work on own initiative
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Effective problem solving skills
  • Full UK clean driving licence essential
  • Must be flexible on occasion with working hours
  • Completion of Aviation Security Certificate Level CO
  • Training will be provided
