Description

We are currently recruiting for a full time permanent Computer Science/Computing Teacher to join a reputable further education provider in Berkshire.


Responsibilities:


  • Plan, prepare and deliver highquality lessons in Computer Science and Computing to students aged 16 and above
  • Design and develop course materials, teaching aids and other resources to support effective learning
  • Assess and monitor students' progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development
  • Ensure that all teaching activities are delivered in line with the policies, procedures and standards of the institution
  • Foster a positive learning environment and contribute to the wider academic community by participating in relevant activities

Requirements:


  • A degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • A teaching qualification of some kind
  • Previous experience teaching Computer Science/Computing to Further Education students
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • A commitment to supporting the academic success and personal development of all students
