We have just been rated as Outstanding in our recent CQC inspection.

Our ambition is to inspire clients, their relatives and professionals alike by consistently attaining excellent outcomes, supporting people with compassion and kindness.

We are currently looking for a Support Worker to assist our client, an 18-year-old person with cerebral palsy living in Bridgwater.

This is a part-time role working around three shifts per week on the following shift pattern, (with some flexibility):
Monday 9am - 4pm
Wednesday 1.00pm - 3.00pm
Friday 8.00am - 7.30pm

The Role
As a Support Worker, you will provide dedicated support to our teenage client with cerebral palsy.

Passionate about sports, music and computer games, they attend college and require support with their personal care and daily living activities.

They use a wheelchair full-time, live in a fully adapted and equipped property and possess a wheelchair-accessible vehicle.

Our client requires help with eating and drinking due to limited upper limb functions, they love to chat and interact but their condition effects their speech patterns so you will sometimes have to help them be understood.

On a day-to-day basis, you will collect them from college, help with morning and evening care routines and support them to do therapy and social and leisure activities.

About You
To be considered as a Support Worker, you will need:

  • A fully enhanced disclosure request from the DBS
  • To register with the DBS Update Service
  • A full, valid driving licence
