Our client is a housing provider with properties across the UK. Currently they are seeking an experienced Asset Manager to join their planned works team.Duties will include:
- To be responsible for project managing the scoping, planning, procurement and delivery of housing repairs and maintenance projects ensuring that all objectives, targets, contractual responsibilities and obligations are met
- To lead on the delivery of selected programmes of works, major works and refurbishment projects. The role will involve management of building contractors onsite, specifically monitoring project finances and budgets, health & safety and quality of works
- To represent the company with liaison with affected customers and monitor project costs and wider timeframes. To collaborate with peers, customers, colleagues and senior management to ensure a fully integrated property approach is achieved and maintained
- To support the continuous improvement of the service area, focusing on providing high quality, easily accessible services and information and advice to our customers and stakeholders
- Assist the asset team in ensuring the organisation meets full compliance with regulatory expectations relating to Decent Homes Standard, housing health and safety, energy performance targets, etc.
- Support the development of capital programmes and prepare supporting project business cases, approval for tender, support on schedule of work/prelim to submit for contractors to price against, evaluate the tenders received etc
