Our client is a housing provider with properties across the UK. Currently they are seeking an experienced Asset Manager to join their planned works team.

Duties will include:

To be responsible for project managing the scoping, planning, procurement and delivery of housing repairs and maintenance projects ensuring that all objectives, targets, contractual responsibilities and obligations are met
To lead on the delivery of selected programmes of works, major works and refurbishment projects. The role will involve management of building contractors onsite, specifically monitoring project finances and budgets, health & safety and quality of works
To represent the company with liaison with affected customers and monitor project costs and wider timeframes. To collaborate with peers, customers, colleagues and senior management to ensure a fully integrated property approach is achieved and maintained
To support the continuous improvement of the service area, focusing on providing high quality, easily accessible services and information and advice to our customers and stakeholders
Assist the asset team in ensuring the organisation meets full compliance with regulatory expectations relating to Decent Homes Standard, housing health and safety, energy performance targets, etc.
Support the development of capital programmes and prepare supporting project business cases, approval for tender, support on schedule of work/prelim to submit for contractors to price against, evaluate the tenders received etc
