Job Title:
Bench Jeweller


Responsibilities:

Expertise in crafting and repairing jewelry using various metals and gemstones.

Proficient in using jewelry-making tools, such as saws, files, and soldering equipment.

Ability to interpret and work from jewelry designs, sketches, or customer specifications.

Execute precise measurements and intricate detailing to create high-quality pieces.

Conduct repairs, resizing, and restoration of jewelry items with attention to detail.

Collaborate with other team members, including designers and sales staff, to ensure client satisfaction.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and quality standards.

Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and materials to enhance skills and contribute to innovative designs.

Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and discussing customization options.

Assist in inventory management, including tracking and ordering supplies.


Qualifications:
Proven experience as a bench jeweller or similar role.

Proficient in working with precious metals, gemstones, and various jewelry-making techniques.

Knowledge of jewelry design principles and ability to interpret design specifications.

Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Familiarity with jewelry-making tools and equipment.

Creativity and passion for producing high-quality, unique pieces.

Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and meet deadlines.

High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in jewelry design or metalsmithing is a plus.

Salary will increase accordingly with your experience.

Part-time hours: 16-45 per week


Salary:
£10.00-£12.50 per hour


Schedule:
