DELIVERY DRIVER
Menzies Distribution are looking for a Delivery Driver to join our team.

You'll be working on behalf of Menzies Distribution Limited and its customers, providing a first class service with our team in Belfast.

What You Really Want To Know

The salary for this role is £10.15 per hour
This is a Day position
You will be working 4 days out of 5, Monday, Wednesday Thursday am 5pm Friday am 5pm (Tuesday off)
This role is based on a basic 39 hour week
This is a permanent position
The amount of drops will vary day to day dependent on what is required to be delivered that day.

DELIVERY DRIVER DUTIES

Check the quality of packed orders
Manually unload and upload parcels for delivery (inc pallets)
Make sure the vehicle is loaded safely and within the legislation
Ensure parcels are delivered to residential and commercial customers safely, efficiently and on timp
Ensure security of the vehicle and goods contained during transit
Complete all documentation as per company procedure
Keep the warehouse safe, clean and tidy
Adhere to company procedures and policies

DELIVERY DRIVER REQUIREMENTS

Held a full and valid UK Drivers Licence for a minimum of 4 years
No previous disqualifications for NI, DD or DR
Familiarity with most of the streets and commercial addresses
Physically fit to meet the demands of a multidrop driving role
Hardworking, positive and a flexible attitude to work
Have great customer service skills
