Description
The QA Department is responsible for maintaining the Quality System and obtaining product registrations across the world.

Unsurprisingly, the department has a major influence on other areas of the business such as product development and customer support.

The ever-changing Quality/Regulatory landscape has resulted in the need to expand our QA Department to ensure we continue to meet the requirements of this highly regulated industry.


Salary
Up to £35,000 depending on experience and qualifications


Working Hours
Full time with Hybrid working an option.


Main purpose of job:

To support and assist the Head of Quality and Regulatory Affairs to provide the necessary assistance to Planer Limited.

This will ensure our products and systems remain compliant with all the necessary regulations which allow us to place and sell them in the relevant markets in which we operate.


This is a diverse role which encompasses a wide variety of the different aspects of function of the QA department and will require a diverse range of skills and knowledge to fulfil.


Duties include assisting with:


  • Registration of Planer products with the relevant authorities globally
  • Collating and analysing monthly QA Data (complaints, defects, and supplier performance) and participating in QA meetings.
  • Creating and updating company procedures in accordance with ISO 1348
  • Undertaking investigations into supplier issues or customer complaints to establish root cause.
  • Creating post market surveillance reports
  • Internal & External Audits
  • Organising the calibration of production equipment and maintaining records.
  • General regulatory research and regulatory aspects of new product development.
  • An Engineering/Quality/Regulatory background
  • Rigorous attention to detail
  • The determination to see things through to the end.
  • The ability to think innovatively in order to find a solution that can be implemented within the resources available.
  • The initiative to work independently whilst being comfortable to ask questions.
  • A flexible "can do" attitude.
  • Experience of Manufacturing environment (ideally low volume high value manufacturing)
  • Experience of CE marking
  • Experience of auditing within a manufacturing environment

Salary:
£30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
