Akkodis is currently recruiting for an Archive Project Manager to join our client on a 12 month initial contract.

Role:
Archive Project Manager

Duration: 12 Months initially with the option for Permanent after

Rate:
£443 per day


Status:
Inside IR35

Location:
Taunton 5 days a week initially with the option for more remote work as the contract goes on.

This post will project manage and lead a team to deliver the archive projects which may range from collection conservation and cataloguing; document production for internal and external enquiries; responding to enquiries; delivering a programme of digitisation;and achieving Archive Accreditation.

The individual will have to manage staff resource and the use of archival software. A project management qualification is essential, as is experience of working in an archive/museum environment.

Experience of staff management
Desirable
Post Graduate qualification in Archives Management / Administration
Understanding of cataloguing software
Knowledge of cataloguing requirements and standards
Experience of managing specialist cartographic records
Understanding of digital preservation
Experience of presenting to senior executives
