Description

We are looking for a talented and creative social media Video Editor / Content Creator to join our Social Agency arm.

In this role, you will be responsible for producing visually captivating video content for one of our partner brands' social media platforms.

Your expertise in video editing, storytelling, and social media trends will play a crucial role in enhancing brand presence and driving engagement with the Gen Z target audience.

This is a fixed term contract until the end of March 2024, with a view to extend.


What the opportunity looks like

  • Edit and enhance raw and licensed footage, incorporating relevant graphics, effects, transitions, and music to create eyecatching videos
  • Ensure videos are optimised for each social media platform, considering aspect ratios, video length, and other platformspecific requirements.
  • Work closely with the content team to develop engaging video concepts that align with the brand's image, target audience and objectives
  • Create highquality video content in the form of onthestreet vox pops, quizzes and other formats for social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Twitter and Threads
  • Monitor video performance metrics and provide insights and recommendations for optimisation.
  • Maintain the organisation of video assets, including production workflow, cataloguing and file management.
  • Stay informed on current social media trends, video editing tools and softwares to continually improve the impact of our video content

Skills and experience we'd like you to have

  • Proven experience as a video editor and content creator for short form social media content, with a strong portfolio showcasing your video editing and content creation skills.
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop and similar tools.
  • Knowledge of simple motion graphics and subtitling is desirable
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with audio editing and sound design is desirable.
  • Understanding of media law, including copyright, consent and ethical considerations
