The University of Oxford's Medical Sciences Development team is recruiting a Project Officer to support our work raising funds for life-changing medical advancement.

The Medical Sciences Division at Oxford has had an extraordinary time since early 2020, leading in many of the research areas relating to the pandemic, but most notably on the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine.

Part of the University of Oxford Development Office, the Medical Sciences development team is high-achieving and friendly.

The team provides support to the 16 departments within the division, raising funds for priorities such as global and mental health, as well as a number of other exciting and ground-breaking areas in medical sciences.


About the Role


This role is an exciting position that covers a wide range of responsibilities, such as supporting fundraisers with planning and managing cultivation visits; taking a leading role in organizing donor events; managing reporting and key stewardship activities for some of the Division's most significant donors; researching potential donors, and composing engaging internal and external communications.


About You


We are looking for an energetic and creative team member who can turn their hand to work on a range of projects, who can engage with colleagues across Medical Sciences and the Development Office, and who can effectively prioritise a varied workload.
