Principal Transport PlannerWithin this role you will:
- Prepare proposals for, project and commercially manage small and medium sized projects
- Take responsibility for your and others high quality outputs
- Liaise and advise clients and stakeholders
- Search for new opportunities, approaches and ways to improve
You will have knowledge, experience and qualifications in:
- Commissioning survey briefs, the strengths and weaknesses of research methods and survey techniques
- Delegation and review of data analysis
- Explaining national, regional and local planning policies in relation to development proposals
- Giving advice about national highway design guidance and how they inform the project
- core software tools
- AutoCAD, TRICS, TEMPro, Junctions 10 and LinSig
Our client specialises in providing high-level advice to clients on planning, design and construction issues relating to highways, and civil engineering infrastructure.
They work within a wide variety of sectors including residential, retail, leisure, commercial, educational and industrial, and provide advice and design services to their clients across the whole project life-cycle.
