Working as an integrated team with our clients we use our 95 years trading in design, manufacturing and installation to provide a specialist bespoke solution for shading and privacy to any building.

We deal with many major blue chip companies within the construction sector as well as local authorities and
NHS trusts.

We are looking for an
experienced Credit Controller to join our small accounts team in Wakefield on a full time permanent basis.

Please note this is not a remote working position.

Key functions of the role are:

• Keeping a clear record of actions and customer conversations.
• Collecting overdue retentions
• Allocating receipts
• Producing weekly chase reports
• Issuing statements and customer letters
• Dealing with customer invoice queries
• Carry out credit checks on customers
• Support the department where necessary with general administrative duties which may also include helping maintain various industry accreditations
• Any other ad hoc duties as required
• Experience working in a cash collection environment preferred
• Be able to proactively chase debts
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A confident telephone manner
• A positive attitude
• Ability to prioritise workload
• Be able to work to tight deadlines with good attention to detail
• Good knowledge of Microsoft systems including Excel, Word and Outlook.
