We are recruiting for a company based in Fenton, ST4 area that are looking to source a Purchse Ledger Clerk for their busy office.


Requirements:


  • Purchase ledger experience working with a high volume of invoices
  • Strong Microsoft package experience (Excel & Outlook)
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly Organised
  • Strong attention to detail
Job Responsibilities

  • Manual input of supplier invoices for multiple companies
  • Running automatic purchase invoice matching for all trade counter branches
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements to aged creditors reports
  • Resolution of supplier queries
  • Liaise with suppliers on payment dates and sending remittances
  • Setting up new supplier accounts and maintaining existing supplier details
  • General filing of invoices and statements
  • Prepare weekly banking
  • Petty cash reconciliation
  • Occasionally helping with other finance roles (e.g credit control) where required

Job Types:

Salary:
£24,000.00-£25,000.00 per year

- purchase ledger: 1 year (required)

  • Accounts payable: 1 year (preferred)
