TITLE:
Stores Person
RESPONSIBLE TO:
Stores Manager
SCOPE:
To ensure stock items are received, stored & issued / dispatched according to Company policy
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Undertake initial training to operate in the CPI TMD Stores areas. This includes a good understanding of day to day stores activities and to gain a wider overview of CPI TMD operations
- Undertake training including o Health & Safety training required for Stores operation o Forklift Truck operation o Known Consignor status (KC)
- Be conversant with goodsin processes
- Ensure inventory is stored in a correct and safe manner and be conversant with all stocking conventions including inventory check processes and procedures
- Provides service to internal customers, including 'across the counter' service and 'kitting service' that is timely and efficient; whilst assuring transactions are correctly completed
- Packing and shipping of goods that leave CPI TMD. This includes customer orders, returns to suppliers and free issue materials. Ensuring that these products are packed in designated packaging for safe transport
- Housekeeping 'GEMBA good' and general maintenance of site including
- Undertaking and other tasks which may be reasonably requested
- To perform his / her duties with respect to all Company procedures including Health & Safety requirements.

REQUIREMENTS
- Forklift truck licence is mandatory
- Known Consignor is mandatory
QUALIFICATIONS
- Good level of general education at GCSE level or above
- Forklift truck licence is mandatory
- Clear and concise communicator in both spoken and written English
- Understanding and knowledge of Microsoft office package
- Ability to understand and operate MRP and ERP systems (preferably Oracle based)
- Awareness of Dangerous Good Handling and Aviation Security

£26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
