Maths and English Classroom Assistants - London, United Kingdom - First Class Learning - Chiswick

We are looking for Classroom Assistants to join our maths and English tuition centre in Chiswick, W4 4NF.

We need Classroom Assistants to commit to working one to three days a week on
Tuesdays, Wednesdays and/or
Thursdays from
4.00 pm pm.

We provide the learning materials and set the work ahead of each session with answers/solutions. We need confident, friendly and knowledgeable maths and English assistants to support our students with their individual learning programmes.


We are looking for applicants who are:

• punctual, reliable and consistently available to work on their assigned day(s);

- enthusiastic and friendly with excellent communication skills and high expectations of student behaviour and progress;
- professional, approachable and able to use their initiative by being responsive and reactive to the needs of their student(s).


Other duties:

There will also be light admin work at times updating student tracking sheets as well as handling resources. There are some light cleaning duties during and briefly after classes, such as wiping down tabletops with antibacterial wipes/spray.

• It is a requirement of your contract with First Class Learning
• Chiswick that we obtain a clean DBS Enhanced Disclosure for all staff as part of our child protection procedures._

Required education level:

• GCSE Maths level 7 / A grade or above
• GCSE English Language and/or Literature level 7 / A grade or above
• Desired but not essential: A Level (or above) in either maths or English.
