Brand new opportunity for an experienced procurement professional to join a leading organisation as a Senior Buyer - Indirects.

This role will be responsible for centralising Indirect spend for the business - analysing the current data and negotiating contracts with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Buyer - Indirects;

Manage all company indirect spend including parts, services, energy, tooling & facilities.
Target cost saving & consolidation opportunities in the indirect categories whilst maintaining quality and service.
Analyse the current Indirect spend and look for opportunities to save costs in line with the business KPI's.
Drive and develop a reliable and robust supply chain for alternatively sourced parts and services.
Develop and implement contracts and longterm agreements.
Manage bids and tenders for all contracting work.
Develop and introduce KPI's throughout the indirect categories.
Management of contracts ensuring supplier KPI's are maintained.

Personal Specification of the Senior Buyer - Indirects;

Degree and / or CIPS qualification would be preferred.
Proven Procurement & Category Management experience.
Broad Indirect Category Procurement experience.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to effectively prioritise workload.
Strong problemsolving skills.
Selfmotivated and enthusiastic.

This role would also suit you if you have held a role within purchasing or procurement as a Senior Buyer, Purchasing Controller, Commodity Manager, Sourcing Manager, Category Manager, Supplier Manager.

Salary:
£50,000.00-£58,000.00 per year
