The opportunity


The EY Global Media Relations and Social Media team is seeking a senior level PR professional to lead Consulting and Strategy and Transactions (SaT) - Service Lines.

This role is charged with building and expanding the global media and social media profile of Consulting and SaT's business programs and leadership in support of the EY NextWave priorities and reputational goals.


Your key responsibilities

  • In collaboration with the relevant EY Service Line business and BMC leadership, take overall responsibility for leading the team that develops and implements measurable PR and social media strategies and plans in support of brand and business goals.
  • Provide PR and social media counsel and support for strategic and highprofile campaigns, events and initiatives.
  • Position key global executives as experts on key industry issues and hot topics by leading the Consulting and SaT teams to proactively identify opportunities for comment or pitching reports and placing opeds/comment pieces in the media.
  • Develop impactful PR, social programs and ideas that are provocative, shape the dialogue and drive brand favourability.
  • Increase the EY share of voice on Service Line strategic topics and themes in global media as well as on social media.
  • Develop and deliver executive visibility plans for key global executives that comprise of media relations, events and social media content.
  • Write, commission, edit or review blogs, opeds, announcements, social media posts, etc; identify media opportunities; create measurement reports as needed.
  • Work across time zones and communicate regularly with the EY global PR network, informing them of appropriate initiatives and briefing them where appropriate.
  • Line manage two associates, providing counsel and feedback to support development of a high performing team.

Skills and attributes for success

To qualify for the role you must have:

  • Prior senior-level PR and social media experience working in-house or within an PR agency, with direct experience managing major international campaigns, including integrated social media strategies and content.
  • Strong expertise in stakeholder management, and high aptitude for decisively identifying highvalue activities while ensuring all stakeholders feel supported.
  • Excellent teaming and relationship building skills and experience in influencing and working within a complex, matrix organisation.
  • Willingness and ability to work independently or collaboratively and to have a clear sense of escalation needs and sense of urgency on issues or projects.

Ideally, you'll also have

  • Fantastic copywriting skills with experience creating content for different audiences and different platforms.
  • Cultural awareness and sensitivity, as this role will involve daily interaction with people in countries around the globe.
  • A selfstarter with a "can do" attitude and the drive to get the job done; the potential to develop within the organization.
  • A passion for current affairs and business news and ideally have past experience of working within PR, social media and communications.

What we offer
The compensation ranges below are provided in order to comply with United States pay transparency laws. Other geographies will follow their local salary guidelines, which may not be a direct conversion of published US salary range/s


We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you'll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business.

The salary range for this job in most geographic locations in the US is $125,900 to $235,500. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $151,100 to $267,600.

Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.

In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
