The Role
This is an exciting role with Make it Wild, a multi award-winning rewilding and conservation organisation.


The rapidly growing organisation currently has nine sites totalling over 400 acres in North Yorkshire, and two, soon to be three partner sites across the UK, all of which are managed primarily for biodiversity.


Our mission statement is:

We are bold in what we do, and innovative in creating a business from supporting nature.


Income streams come from individuals and businesses supporting our nature restoration activities, through woodland creation for carbon offsetting, and other imaginative sponsorship and dedication schemes.

We also offer woodland experiences and a holiday cottage.

We are in a phase of rapid growth and seek a Marketing Executive to support our expansion strategy.

Working pattern and location:


This role is expected to be 2 days per week, which can be flexibly delivered, mainly remote or home working with occasional visits to sites for events etc.


It is anticipated that your home base will be within approximately an hour's travel time from the Harrogate district where our main site, and most of the others are located.


Responsibilities:

Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote Make it Wild products and services.

  • Including locality specific campaigns for our network of partner sites.
  • Covering both B2B and B2C.
Create and manage marketing campaigns.

  • This might include digital, print, broadcast and social media.
Prepare reports on marketing activities and results.

  • Use this to adapt the approach to maximise ROI.
Plan and implement PR campaigns.

Conduct market research to identify potential customers and evaluate market trends.
Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to ensure a competitive edge.

Collaborate with our Partnership Manager to identify, attract and secure new franchise partners.


This list is not intended to be exhaustive, and other tasks may be requested depending on the needs of our small rapidly growing organisation.


Expected Outcomes:

Increase in brand awareness.

Increase in sales both at Make it Wild 'home' locations and partner sites.

New partner sites join the 'family'.


Organisational Relationships:

You will work closely with, and take direction from, the founding directors.

You will also have a close working relationship with our Partnership Manager.


Experience:

Proven experience in B2B (and preferably B2C) marketing for at least two years, to include the aspects listed above.


Required Attributes:

Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
Excellent written English.

Strong interpersonal skills.

Attention to detail.

Excellent organisational, planning and prioritization skills and the ability to work to deadlines.

Ability to multi-task.

Interest in Nature, conservation, sustainability.


Required Qualifications:

Driver's licence.

Salary:
£12.00-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week
