An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Crystal Care Solutions team for a Residential Children's Worker within one of our registered Children's Homes.

Essential Job Requirements
- Provide a safe environment for the young people in our care
- Good communication skills with the ability to develop positive relationships
- Be a good team player to provide a high level of care and achieve positive outcomes
- Encourage the young people to be motivated and take part in activities, education and extracurricular activities
- Have attention to detail ensuring correct information is recorded in all paperwork
- Demonstrate a commitment to own training and development
- Be able to adapt working practice to the ethos of the home
- Have resilience, motivation and determination
- Can adapt to challenging and changing situations
- Be inclusive to all children and young people
- Be confident in using Microsoft Office including Outlook and Word, or willing to learn
- Be flexible and able to undertake shift work including weekends and sleepins.
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable Attributes
- Diploma Level 3 qualified in Children and Young Persons Workforce or equivalent or willingness to work towards the above Level 3 qualification funded by the organisation
- Knowledge of current legislation relevant to Children's Homes
- Experience of Ofsted inspections
- Understanding of attachment and trauma in relation to young people

Shift - 2 on 4 off shift pattern followed by a sleep in (sleep in rate £34per sleep in)or a Rotational 2-week pattern: week 1 Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat & Sun and week 2 Weds & Thurs
