Business Development Manager - Lining Division

The Lanes Group needs an experienced Business Development Manager to join our Sewer Renovation division based in Manchester.


Salary:

£45,000 - £50,000 per annum + commission


Hours:

Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week


Job Type:


  • Full Time, Permanent with probationary period

Main Duties:


Working closely with the Divisional Manager the role involves developing relationships and opportunities directly with sector clients, Tier 1 Contractors and Consultants.

The focus will be to develop long term frameworks, packages of works and individualorders that will be delivered through the Lining Division.


Specific Duties:


  • Develop sewer Lining opportunities across Utility, Transportation, Industrial and Power sectors.
  • Produce weekly/monthly opportunities report for Sales Director.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets
  • Produce and maintain individual client records.
  • Record all information on CRM.
  • Attend conference / seminars / exhibitions where required to promote sales.
  • Produce projected sales figures and reports
  • Provide quotations for clients when requested
  • Interface with clients to assist in providing best possible solutions for resolving problems.
  • Assist in debt collection as required.
  • Resolve disputes with customers in liaison with Division Manager.
  • Organise structured sales development within designated area.
  • Provide detailed information to Marketing Department relative to any potential and existing accounts/frameworks.
  • Utilise marketing department to support structured sales strategy.
  • Carry out customer care duties to improve service levels leading to increased revenue lines.
  • Source new business to promote the growth of the company.
  • Ensure minimum profit requirements are achieved on sales orders.
  • Secure and support completion of tender documents.

The Business Development Manager, from time to time, be required to undertake other activities of a reasonable nature that fall within its capabilities plusother duties consistent with the role as directed by management.
