Classroom Assistant and Aftercare Supervisor (Maternity)


Bradford Grammar Junior School are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed, Classroom Assistant and Aftercare Supervisor to cover a maternity from September 2024 to April 2025.

Under the direct guidance and supervision of the assigned Form Teacher, the Classroom Assistant will support learning for individuals or groups, in or out of the classroom, helping to create a stimulating learning environment to enable the children reach their full potential.


Hours of work will be 12:00pm - 6:00pm Monday to Friday, term time only.

  • NVQ Level 3/NNEB qualification (desirable, otherwise willingness to undertake appropriate training towards the qualification)
  • First Aid trained (desirable)
  • Knowledge of safeguarding policy
  • Food hygiene (desirable)
  • Competent ICT user (desirable)
  • First aid qualification desirable [or willingness to qualify]

Job Types:
Part-time, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 8 months


Pay:
£16,225.00 per year

Expected hours: 30 per week
