We have an exciting, fixed term opportunity available within our Print Services department for a Print Services Coordinator.

We are looking for a team player who has a good level of IT skills and a willingness to learn and develop new skills.

Please note this is a fixed term opportunity that ends on 29 March 2024 on a full time basis.

If you are a current PCI employee this will be treated as a Secondment opportunity.


Main purpose of role:

  • To Print labels for clinical and commercial packaging.
  • Generate the design of clinical and commercial labels
  • Generate the randomisations for clinical works orders
  • Generate the site wide log books
  • To support with the introduction of a new printing System Prisym 360.
  • Support with the transferring of files from Medica Web to Prisym 360.

Main responsibilities:

  • Work to a high standard of cGMP/GCP
  • Maintain the stock levels and produce ribbon orders when required.
  • Assist in the training of other team members to use the labelling system if not conversant themselves.
  • Attend planning meetings when required
  • Maintain the WCJQ priorities, ensuring no hold ups to Production.
  • Assist in the hosting of internal and customer/client audits
  • Assist in maintaining 5S within the Label office
  • Cross train in roles that may be required by business needs
  • Work in a safe manner at all times and highlight any health and safety issues to the appropriate person(s)
  • Interact with project management, QT, QA, Production, Validation and Warehouse for any queries, stock issues, system failings and general daily tasks.
  • Maintain the accuracy of all printing and log book records to ensure they are left in a secure manner.

  • Computer literate to a competent level using Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to be selfmotivated
  • Quality focused
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Customer focused and able to work with internal teams
  • Good communication skills both orally and written
  • Good numeracy skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to complete work to a priority schedule and work under pressure.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Experience from an administrative background
  • A good understanding of GMP and GCP procedures.
  • Relevant work based training e.g. Manual Handling, First Aid. IT.
  • Design software skills
  • Previous experience from a design/printing background
  • Qualifications:


  • Essential
- 5 GCSE's of grade C or above or equivalent.
