Investigo are proud to be exclusively partnering with a reputable retail brand based in
Milton Keynes recruiting a
Senior Accountant with succession plan to become Finance Manager.

In the position of
Senior Accountant Milton Keynes you will support the Finance Director with both financial and management accounts in line with company standards to ensure smooth month end close


Key duties to include:

  • Responsibility for the monthend reconciliation of cash, fixed assets, inventory, debtors, prepayments and accruals, processing monthend journals as needed
  • Prepare monthend intercompany reconciliations send out invoices and statements to Intercompany contacts throughout Europe, ensuring that balances are agreed by relevant monthend deadlines
  • Prepare UK VAT return, due by 20th each month
  • Prepare monthly report of monthly movements into EU
  • Manage salesmen samples provisions and reconciliation
  • Team management manage one assistant financial accountant who has responsibility for reconciling cash receipts from our websites.
  • Support the yearend audit, collating audit requests and dealing with queries from the audit team
  • Assist in the preparation of the corporation tax return.
  • Support ongoing IT projects e.g. implementation of D365 scheduled for August 2023

The Profile
Ideally from a practice background and familiar with reporting standards

Good communicator as you will partner and build trusted relationships within the organisation

Ability to work under own initiative and collectively as part of a team


The Salary
£45,000 to £50,000 basic plus annual bonus 10%, £1500 annual clothing allowance plus full benefits package
