BWD Venues are recruiting Bar and Catering staff who want to work in the hospitality and entertainment sector.

King Georges Hall takes pride in being able to attract nationally known acts to the centre of Blackburn. We cater for many of the community events including weddings, family occasion, concerts, performances and live music. We also play a significant role in supporting the town centre evening economy and its regeneration.

Expectations are high, we attract quality acts so want quality personnel to reflect that. But the rewards are good.

You will be working at one or both of the venues and will be part of the team preparing and servicing our large events.

Smart dress is essential as is excellent customer care and being able to remain calm in high pressure situations whilst still getting the job done.

Training will be given so you do the job our way, but experience is essential. You will be serving drinks and taking orders, cash and credit card payments. You must be flexible in working hours and which areas of the building you work.

Evenings and weekends are when we do business and is when we need motivated, hard working staff, this is not a day time job opportunity.
