Overview:
Our team is responsible for developing online courses for Sage's Campus brand.

We are looking for an Instructional Design Coordinator to join our team who can oversee our course portfolio throughout the build and launch phase, as well as advise our Editors on implementing our Instructional Design vison.

You'll work with colleagues across Sage to ensure we're delivering a high-quality portfolio of online courses that meet our customers' expectations and needs, and be part of a new and growing part of Sage's innovative and rapidly expanding learning resources portfolio.


Could you be our new Instructional Design Co-Ordinator

  • Do you have experience working on multiple online courses as they are developed through build, QA and launch stages?
  • Do you have experience working with Moodle (or other LMS systems) and elearning authoring tools such as Evolve?
  • Do you enjoy project management, and the challenges of working across different functions to keep things on schedule?
  • Do you seek a varied role with different challenges each week, and to be part of a dynamic team whose work is expanding and changing rapidly?
  • Are you good at working with other people, and have excellent communication skills that can make a positive contribution to our organisational culture?

Your new role

  • You will manage the course production stages of our online course portfolio, overseeing and coordinating the build, test and launch phases of course development and ensuring things run to schedule.
  • You'll be responsible for briefing our external elearning vendor/s on how to build our courses, ensuring they meet our content teams expectations.
  • You'll evaluate course builds for quality, providing and coordinating the teams course feedback and ensuring changes are implemented as expected.
  • You'll need good attention to detail and organizational skills so that you can undertake bug testing and QA work for our course portfolio, with relevant experience of working in authoring tools such as Evolve, Rise or Storyline.
  • You need experience in an eLearning environment such as Moodle, and demonstrable skill at editing and manipulating online content within these environments, so we can rely on you to launch our courses on schedule and to a high quality.
  • You'll advise our internal Editors during the storyboarding stage on best practice for implementing quality instructional design principles, and then evaluate their storyboards, giving feedback to help them improve.
  • You'll collaborate with our UX and Accessibility team on relevant course improvement projects, overseeing accessibility improvements within our individual courses.
