SAP Implementation Manager

Location:
Warwick

Daily rate:
£550 per day

12-15-month Contract (Outside IR 35)

We have an exciting opportunity to join a global organisation within the automotive industry as an
SAP Implementation Manager.

Our client is a global organisation and world leading provider of innovative technologies to the automotive sector operating in over 24 countries.

Duties and responsibilities of the SAP Implementation Manager

Act as the primary point of contact for all projectrelated matters between the internal customers, implementation team, global IT, and other stakeholders
Understand the business processes and objectives, and align the SAP project scope, schedule, and budget to meet those needs
Develop and maintain a detailed project plan, including milestones, tasks, risks, and dependencies, using appropriate tools and techniques
Manage daytoday project activities, including resource allocation, status reporting, issue and risk management, change control, and quality assurance
Proactively identify and manage project risks and issues, developing contingency plans as needed
Lead the project and business teams through integration testing and UAT; manage and resolve test defects.
Collaborate with delivery leads and create governance & decision support.
Prepare and deliver presentations to senior management, project sponsors, and other key stakeholders
Write and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including requirements, design, test, and user manuals
Conduct regular project meetings with the internal customers and implementation team, providing updates on progress, risks, and issues.
Ensure that all project deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to the required level of quality.
Perform postimplementation reviews to document lessons learned and make recommendations for future projects.

Qualifications and education requirements for the SAP Implementation Manager

Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, or a related field
7+ years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years managing SAP projects
Proven track record of successful project delivery on time and within budget
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
Ability to work effectively with crossfunctional teams

Expected skills & competencies for the SAP Implementation Manager

Master's degree in computer science, business administration, or a related field
PMP or other project management certification
10+ years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years managing SAP projects
Experience with agile methodology
